Tool Information
JEA Products can manufacture inserting tools for installing almost any size O-ring, as well as Back-up rings, (solid only, not scarfe cut), Quad rings, and some U-cups and wiper rings.
Standard Tools

Standard tools are designed for parts with straight, smooth bores in front of the O-ring groove.

Each tool fits one size O-ring. The dash number of the installation tool is the same as the dash number of the O-ring. For example a 1400-010 is a manual tool for –010 size O-ring.

Standard sizes are –010 to –018, and –110 to –116.

Standard tools are adjustable for O-ring groove depths from 0 to 3/4 inch.

Standard 1400 (manual) tools are priced at $640 ea.

Standard 1430 (pneumatic) tools are priced at $670 ea.

Mounting stands for the 1430 model are sold separately and priced at $20 ea.

Consult factory for special sizes and insertion depths of O-rings.
1430 with mounting stand uses 1/4"NPT pipe thread tap to connect to air hose with foot pedal valve.
We suggest 60-120 PSI, using the lowest pressure that allows tool to function well.
Repairs- Do not attempt to take apart or repair tools yourself!
Our tools are long lasting but can wear or break with use. Should you require a repair, please contact us. We can often repair tools to "like new" condition for less than the cost of new. We will ask you to send us the tool; we will take it apart and diagnose what repairs are required then contact you with the cost quote.
